I'm an intimate wedding and destination wedding photographer based out of Connecticut. My recent travel for weddings includes Vienna Austria, St Andrews Scotland, and Cambridge England. My superpower is making couples feel super comfortable in front of the camera. Although I document your day, almost entirely organically, I give gentle prompting and guidance during your portraits to ensure that you end up with photos that you love. Otherwise, I'm on the lookout for moments big and small, funny and emotionally charged. I capture a rich rendering of your day, that you can look back on for the rest of your lives, with big smiles, and maybe a tear... or several.

Where are you located? Do you charge a travel fee for weddings not in your location?

I'm located North of Hartford, CT. I charge a flat rate travel fee for weddings over two hours away, and for weddings outside of the US or New England, I create custom quotes.

How long have you been in business? How many weddings have you photographed as the main photographer?

I've been in business for 5 years and I've photographed over 50 weddings as a lead, and over 200 weddings total (including lead and seconding!).

Describe your "style" of wedding photography.

My style of wedding photography is moment led, organic, and documentary in nature - but not 100%. I focus on emotion, and I won't interrupt that ever, but I also provide guidance during your portraits. If you're getting ready in a dark corner, instead of by beautiful window light, I may suggest the window!

What's the typical wedding coverage package that you offer? What is the price?

My most popular package is 8 hours, and coverage starts at 5000, but my average client investment, including albums is around 9000.

Do you have a studio where we can meet in-person?

Yes! We can meet at my studio in Avon, a coffee shop nearby, or we can skype!

What are your professional degrees, credentials, affiliations? Have you taken any recent educational workshops or classes?

My professional background is actually in Molecular biology and neuroendocrinology. I made a major change, and started my business. I've taken digital and film courses, but I've recently had the pleasure of being a student of Two Mann University - Metanoia, and the Heart Photo Major. I take online classes, editing intensives, and attend workshops and conferences where ever I can. I'm definitely a lifelong student.

Is there anything else you'd like to share about yourself?

I love intimate weddings, they're my jam, but I also love big weddings that are guided by intentional planning. Whether I'm working with a couple, or out and about with my husband (who I met while I was living in Scotland) and our two weimaraners, I love documenting memories, and I love making people feel amazing.
