Hi, I’m Teresa, a wedding photographer inspired by joy, vibrant color – and the stories we all hope to pass down. Along with my amazing team of two photographers (plus a videographer!), our fiercely inclusive business emphasizes natural prompts and real emotions to create incredible imagery that captures the vibrant energy of your wedding celebration. We’re set apart by the fact that we document real moments – and work quickly when we’re spending time with you – so you can skip the photo marathons and enjoy your own cocktail hour (which is rare, I might add).

At the end of the day, we bring the experience and expertise to capture the time of your life. From seaside venues to art museums, gardens, and everywhere in between — we capture your best moments with romantic imagery while contributing to a wedding experience that overflows with joy.

Where are you located? Do you charge a travel fee for weddings not in your location?

Based in Connecticut; photographing weddings throughout New England. Travel included for weddings in CT, MA and RI.

How long have you been in business? How many weddings have you photographed as the main photographer?

I've been working as a high-level sports event photographer since 2010, and as a wedding photographer since 2014. Wedding photography is my career and I LOVE IT.

Describe your "style" of wedding photography.

My shooting style is relaxed and natural. Our clients love candids, moments, and documenting the day as it happens, but will also create beautiful portraits when appropriate.

What's the typical wedding coverage package that you offer? What is the price?

Most couples opt for 8 hours of coverage with two photographers and a pre-wedding session; your edited digital images are always included. Most couples invest an average of 6500 for coverage with Teresa and a senior associate photographer.

Do you have a studio where we can meet in-person?

Yes! I'd love to meet with you at my home studio, at my office, or I'm happy to meet with you on Skype or FaceTime.

What are your professional degrees, credentials, affiliations? Have you taken any recent educational workshops or classes?

Continuing education is a must for for all of us :) I'm currently finishing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Digital Photography, and have completed 2MU - Metanoia, the amazing course from Two Mann Studios. I love to attend online courses and in-person workshops, and brainstorm with other photographers as often as I can.

Is there anything else you'd like to share about yourself?

Teresa Johnson Photography is a registered and insured business in the State of Massachusetts. I'm obsessive about providing fantastic client service, but also just love telling stories through colorful, candid photographs. I live with my very patient husband, four mischievous cats, and a growing collection of plants.
