My name is Vasilis Liappis and I am an Athens based, international awards winning fine art, destination wedding photographer, whose work has been published in several international magazine issues and also exhibited in international exhibitions, amongst many participants from around the Globe. I have studied photography in 1998. Since then, I attended several seminars and studied lots of online webinars and online classes in many fields of photography. Expertise in wedding, architectural, family and landscape/seascape photography. I love shooting seascapes when I have some free time. Therefor I always love including couples in a picturesque scenery and capture all the emotions that such a day offers. I love minimal compositions with an ethereal aesthetic to them. Where are you located? Do you charge a travel fee for weddings not in your location?
I am located in Athens, Greece. I don't charge a travel fee, only my accomodation and travel expenses.
How long have you been in business? How many weddings have you photographed as the main photographer?
I have been a second shooter since 2014 and as a main photographer since 2020. I have covered as a main photographer about 20 weddings.
Describe your "style" of wedding photography.
I love candid photos, journalistic and of course intimate candid photos of the couple. I am after an ethereal look with the help of the light. Whenever possible, I use backlight to my advantage to achieve that.

I mainly use Skype or whatever platform suits you to meet online
