I photograph weddings for people who want to remember how it felt, not just how it looked.

I'm a documentary wedding photographer based in Somerset, and I spend most of a wedding day quietly observing the chaos, joy and emotion unfolding around me. The big laughs, the tight hugs, the proud parents, the kids tearing around the dance floor - that's the real story of a wedding.

I don't stage moments or treat weddings like photo shoots. I blend in, watch carefully, and capture the moments people didn't even realise were happening.

Couples often tell me they barely noticed me on the day until they see the photographs and realise I caught everything.

Where are you located? Do you charge a travel fee for weddings not in your location?

I am located in Crewkerne, Somerset which is on the border with Devon and Dorset. Travel fees are on a case-by-case basis.

How long have you been in business? How many weddings have you photographed as the main photographer?

I have been in business for over 8 years and photographed more than 200 wedddings.

Describe your "style" of wedding photography.

My style is relaxed, natural and storytelling-focused. I love capturing genuine moments as they happen, from the big emotional moments to all the little in-between details you may not even notice on the day. Couples often tell me they hardly noticed I was there, which is exactly how I like to work - unobtrusive when capturing the day naturally, but confident and organised when it’s time for group photographs. I want your gallery to feel timeless, emotional and completely true to you.

What's the typical wedding coverage package that you offer? What is the price?

Most couples book full-day coverage, which includes everything from morning preparations through to evening celebrations and dancing. Packages include a pre-wedding consultation, professionally edited high-resolution images, an online gallery and personal printing rights. Full-day wedding coverage starts from £1,600, with smaller weddings and bespoke packages also available depending on your plans.

Do you have a studio where we can meet in-person?

I’m based in Crewkerne, Somerset, and while I don’t have a traditional high-street studio, I’m always happy to meet couples in person locally for a coffee and a chat about their wedding plans. I also offer video consultations for couples who are further away or prefer to chat online.

What are your professional degrees, credentials, affiliations? Have you taken any recent educational workshops or classes?

I have many years of professional photography experience and regularly invest in ongoing education to continue developing my skills and keeping up with industry trends. I attend photography workshops, business training and creative development courses throughout the year, particularly in wedding photography, lighting and posing techniques. My experience photographing weddings across Somerset and the South West has given me a calm, adaptable approach to every kind of wedding day. I have won South West Wedding Photographer of the Year at the Prestige Awards 5 years in a row, am Qualified Status with The Guild of Photographers and was named a photographer to watch in 2025 by MSN.

Is there anything else you'd like to share about yourself?

I genuinely love weddings and feel incredibly lucky to do this job. I’m known for being friendly, approachable and especially good with children and camera-shy guests. I believe your wedding day should never feel like a photoshoot that takes over the celebration. It should feel fun, relaxed and natural while still creating beautiful images you’ll treasure forever.
