Hi, I'm Mat—a wedding and elopement photographer based in Colorado. I help couples create a day that's true to who they are, and document it as a story they'll still feel in their bones years from now.

My approach is deeply personal, and I've built my process to offer more than just photos—it's about connection, care, and creating a space where you can fully be yourselves. I'll help you plan intentionally, make thoughtful choices about your experience-focused timeline, and say grounded in what matters most.

Most of the couples I work with care less about trends and more about meaning. They want to spend quality time with the people they love, and share the beauty of Colorado in a way that feels relaxed and real. Whether you're planning a small wedding or an elopement in Colorado, I'll meet you where you are and help you feel confident every step of the way.

I don't believe in cookie-cutter weddings or cookie-cutter photography. Every couple is different, and your gallery should feel like your story, not just another wedding.

Where are you located? Do you charge a travel fee for weddings not in your location?

I'm located in Denver and work with couples all over the state of Colorado. Travel fees only apply when I travel out of state.

How long have you been in business? How many weddings have you photographed as the main photographer?

I've been photographing weddings full time since 2018, and I've had the honor of documenting over 110 weddings as the lead photographer. From mountaintop elopements in Colorado to celebrations across the country and abroad, every couple's story has shaped the way I work. Along the way, more than 75 couples have left 5-star Google reviews sharing what their experience was like—something I'm extremely proud of.

Describe your "style" of wedding photography.

My style is bold, true-to-color, and deeply heartfelt. I focus on real moments over perfectly posed ones, capturing the connection between people in a way that feels natural and meaningful. I don't direct every second, but I do offer just enough guidance to help you feel comfortable, confident, and like yourselves in front of the camera. The result? Photos that feel lived-in, not staged. Emotional, not performative. And full of the small, in-between moments you'll want to remember most.

What's the typical wedding coverage package that you offer? What is the price?

While each collection is created custom for each couple I work with, most couples who work with me invest an average of $6,500 on their wedding day coverage.

Do you have a studio where we can meet in-person?

Yes! I meet couples in my home studio in Denver, where I also host a one-of-a-kind Reveal Celebration after the wedding. It’s one of my favorite parts of the entire experience. You’ll get to see your full gallery for the first time, sip some champagne, and relive the day from start to finish—complete with a few printed highlights waiting for you when you arrive.
