* I started my career shooting film photography and I still do. It's gotten more expensive but I use it as an opportunity to stay creative and s l o w d o w n

* I am nostalgic and romantic to a fault and I'm pleased people use those exact words to describe my photography style.
I'm located in the Denver area of Colorado. I do not charge a travel fee for destination weddings! I often travel for work, photographing weddings and elopements from California up to Montana over to New York and the East Coast!
I've been in business since 2012 and I've photographed hundreds of weddings in that time. My editing style definitely changes with the times but my main approach (documentary photography with a fine art twist) has stayed consistent.
I consider myself a documentary photographer with a fine art twist. I studied photojournalism and while I love the eye I've developed for fun, interesting candid moments, I think most couples also want a few thoughtfully planned, artfully composed portraits of themselves (and their loved ones) to remember the day with. My couples spend a lot of money on their weddings, they definitely want every angle, every emotion, every part of their story and vibe documented for generations to remember.
My most common package is $7500 and includes an adventure session before or after their wedding day, two photographers for 8 hours on their wedding day, film & digital hybrid photography and a full gallery of images. My couples LOVE adventure sessions which is a separate session (used as an engagement session or as a post-wedding day session) ANYWHERE in the US. My couples sometimes travel to destination cities they love (like San Francisco or New York) or they head into their favorite National Park (like Rocky Mountain or Glacier). It's a fun twist on the standard old engagement shoot.
I got my degree in photography with an emphasis on photojournalism at Webster University in St Louis. Since then, I take continuing education classes yearly by skilled professionals which keeps me up to date on trends, technology and strategies.
