Although I have been loved photography from a young age, my professional career for many years was as a graphic designer and college digital art professor. I started helping my husband, Kevin Bergthold with his wedding photography business in 2015 and we created Berg Berg Photography in 2021. My favorite part about wedding photography is connecting with the couples and their families to document their day especially behind the scenes moments. My education and background in design helps inform the decisions I make behind the lens. We live in Golden, Colorado in the mountains and ride our mountain bikes and snowboards every chance we get.
Where are you located? Do you charge a travel fee for weddings not in your location?
Golden, Colorado just west of Denver. We also have ties to Phoenix, Arizona. We normally don't charge a fee unless it's more than 2 hours from one of these places. We also have a destination package that includes travel within 10 hours of Golden, Colorado.

Unobtrusive, authentic, documentary and artistic.
What's the typical wedding coverage package that you offer? What is the price?
The most popular package we have is $4400 that includes engagement photos, 8 hours of photography with Kevin and Michelle, download and print rights to all images, an online slideshow and a USB drive with images.

What are your professional degrees, credentials, affiliations? Have you taken any recent educational workshops or classes?
Bachelor of Fine Arts in Visual Communications. I teach digital media at a community college.
