The romantic island of Santorini is the home of Greek wedding photographer and cinematographer, Giorgos Galanopoulos. In this idyllic, romantic setting, Giorgos captures moments and creates memories that are not only special, but impressive in their uniqueness and innovation. These include Mykonos, Crete, Paros, Naxos and Folegandros. However, Giorgos is also able to travel to areas that are further afield, even international destinations, to capture engagements and weddings.

I was born and raised in Thessaloniki. Soon after an old camera came into my hands, I started to work with photography. I was fascinated by the images of Josef Koudelka, Garry Winogrand and many others. Since then, I have been experimenting for hours in the darkroom displaying and printing black and white photographs, which I still love today.

Nowadays, photography is my professional occupation. I like to photograph anthropocentrically and to highlight the intensity of emotions and relationships in an image. Every job that I undertake is an event that I participate in person. I am looking to capture spontaneous images and snapshots and play with natural light. Giota Zoumbou: Studied photography at the perestigious Akto College of Art, Design and Media, in Greece. She has been working exclusively as a wedding photographer ever since her graduation. In 1997 she met Takis Gotsopoulos, who influenced her growth as a individual as well as a photographer.

Two dissimilar worlds contributed to the creation of a relationship which resulted in a dynamic professional collaboration and a wonderful family reality. Our aim is always to observe your casual moments and render them in our unique artistic manner. Our photos, mirror our particular feeling about reality. Simple, natural, liberated, precise and, most of all, romantic. Just like us!

Let me give you an idea why i picked up a camera. Since i was a little kid, i was over observing everything, even the smallest detail could not escape. Few years later, i understood that i loved so much to capture my observations at photographic 'clicks' and to see them printed on paper. A lot of thousands clicks later, Wedding photography draw my attention and i said that i'd love to capture people's most special moments!

Now, there are sometimes that i cannot still believe that Photography is my job and i feel truly blessed, and i can't wait to see what this magnificent journey has for the future!

I worked in New York for 11 years as a fashion photographer. Five years ago I decided to change my life and moved to Paros. Wedding photography is part of this new chapter of my live.

I was destined to fell in love with two forms of art since I was a kid. Photography and music.These two defined me as a person and still do.

Born with an innate love for arts, I've sought many ways to express myself. Painting and photography were always my top two choices for channeling my energy but eventually, photography won me over.

I got my first analogue camera in my early teens. My photographic journey starts a bit differently than usual, by not "owing a camera since I was young" but by a hobby I used to have since I was little. The curiosity of observation. I always loved to observe people, their surroundings and fill my eyes with pictures and colors. And this simply because a thousand words, emotions, smells as well as music can fit into a photograph.

The biggest part of my cinematic style was formed by my love for cinema and music. Believe it or not, photographs have music within them. Looking at a photograph evokes an emotion is the same way as listening to a song and these can be combined into one: a photograph that brings to mind a melody.
