My goal is to capture the feelings and emotions of your wedding day through candid and creative photography in a friendly, laid back, and easy going way. I know your wedding day is one of the most memorable moments in your life, and I work hard to make sure your photos express these moments.
I like to allow the day to unfold naturally so that I can capture spontaneous, candid moments. I aim to stay low-key and try to blend into the moments and the crowd, letting you and your family relax and be completely comfortable during your celebration. It is my goal to keep your photos in a true photojournalist style without losing the feeling and poignancy of the day, and I am committed to working with your wants and needs to help create your ideal wedding photographs.

Where are you located? Do you charge a travel fee for weddings not in your location?

I’m based in Western Massachusetts, in the town of Great Barrington in the beautiful Berkshire Hills. I am available for weddings in New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Vermont and the greater New England area, and I will gladly travel for destination weddings. There is a travel fee for any wedding over 2 hours away.

How long have you been in business? How many weddings have you photographed as the main photographer?

I’ve been a professional photographer for over 15 years, and have been shot over 300 weddings since 2005.

Describe your "style" of wedding photography.

Contemporary, Photojournalism.

What's the typical wedding coverage package that you offer? What is the price?

My most popular wedding package is $5000 and includes up to 8 hours of wedding day coverage, high resolution digital files with rights to reprint, an on-line photo gallery for 1 year with a $250 gift card for print, a custom designed Graphistudio wedding album with 40 pages, and an engagement session.

Do you have a studio where we can meet? Do you use Skype?

I have a studio in the old factory town of Housatonic and we can meet here, or for coffee (or even a beer!) And I can facetime or skype.

What are your professional degrees, credentials, affiliations? Have you taken any recent educational workshops or classes?

I have been associated with the PPA (Professional Photographers of America) and the WPJA (Wedding Photojournalist Association). I learned photography working in the industry. My first real gig was when I was 18 and I schlepped film for a fashion photographer in NYC. I have worked for a high end architectural photographer, a product/food photographer, several newspapers, and as a freelance ski/snowboard photographer. I moved into the wedding business full time in 2005 and I love it!!
