I cover events within 120 miles of New York City at no additional cost. That includes Upstate New York, Philadelphia, New Jersey, and the surrounding areas.. I also travel to and through other parts for the USA (and the world). Just ask and I am sure we can arrange something.
I have been a full-time professional photographer for over 10 years. I love what I do, being part of people's lives and their memories. After many years of doing weddings I still really enjoy witnessing and documenting a monumental family celebration. Knowing that I’m capturing moments that will be shared with future generations makes each wedding day's work truly precious to me.
My style is a mix of my photojournalist training and ceditorial photography experience. My documentary approach is unobtrusive while getting you great candid shots that are creative and fun.
I understand that each wedding is different (i.e. locations, the number of guests, time of year, the number of hours). Write and tell me all about you, your wedding, what your are looking for in a photographer, and we’ll get back to you with a rate quote that's fits your specific needs.
My office is in midtown Manhattan. However, I am always open to meet anywhere that is most convenient for you. We can meet for lunch or coffee near your place of work. Skype works for me.
I began college by studying drawing and sculpture for 2 years. I later found that photography allowed me to explore people and places with a metal and glass passport, my camera. This is when I switched my major to Photojournalism and studied under Mel Rosenthal, at SUNY, Empire State College. After college, I went on to work under a number of celebrity photographers, including Anthony Barboza, Mario Testino and Frank Ockenfelds 3. For many years I covered the NYC underground music scene for clients like SONY Music, Atlantic Records, Alternative Press, and New York Times.
I am a native spanish speaker. I grew up in NYC. Music has been a huge influence on my life. Growing up in New York City, I was exposed to all types of music and lifestyles. By junior high I was listening to Hip Hop, R&B, Heavy Metal and Punk Rock. Through college and my twenties I was heavily involved in the Punk/Indie Music Scene. These days, I enjoy traveling and spending time with family and friends (and their families). I do enjoy driving and have done several cross country road trips. So going to Upstate New York or Pennsylvania for your wedding is actually quite relaxing.
