Weddings are my jam. I still get giddy with nervousness before each one. I have a crazy smile plastered on my face during the entire reception, and when the film comes back from the lab after a couple weeks it feels like Christmas. Each wedding is different, each couple incredible, and each celebration so personal in its own amazing ways.

Where are you located? Do you charge a travel fee for weddings not in your location?

I am located in Seattle, WA. Travel fees within Washington, Oregon and Idaho is included with all wedding packages, so there will be no additional charges for travel to weddings in the Pacific Northwest. Travel fees outside of the Pacific Northwest are determined based on the cost for airline travel and hotels.

How long have you been in business? How many weddings have you photographed as the main photographer?

I have been photographing weddings since 2009 and have photographed over 100 weddings as the main photographer.

What's the typical wedding coverage package that you offer? What is the price?

My most commonly booked offering is a wedding photography package that includes eight hours of photography coverage on the day of the wedding, an engagement session, high resolution digital files of all edited images on a USB drive with printing rights released to the client, an online gallery for viewing and sharing your images, and a set of 5x5" prints of each wedding photo in keepsake packaging. This package is $3500. This is my mid-range package, and options with fewer coverage hours or more are available.

Do you have a studio where we can meet? Do you use Skype?

I love to get together in person with new clients whenever possible and typically work with each couple to find a convenient place and time to meet. I use Skype or FaceTime, too!

What are your professional degrees, credentials, affiliations? Have you taken any recent educational workshops or classes?

I graduated from the University of Washington with a Bachelor in Fine Arts in 2008, and returned to school for a certificate in Photography, which I completed in 2010. I have attended Jonathan Canlas' Film is Not Dead workshop, Nina & Wes' The Beyond Workshop in Nepal, and am a member of Offbeat Bride & Wedding Chicks' vendor guides.

Is there anything else you'd like to share about yourself?

I do this because of the people. Photographing people, honest and real emotion, and the details that make your relationship so special are what keep me in love with photography. When I'm not photographing weddings you'll find me perusing farmers markets, dreaming up my next big travel adventure, and working on the 1952 rambler that my husband and I purchased in 2014.
