On a more personal note, I'm the father of 3 beautiful little girls! I've been with Elizabeth, the love of my life, for almost 2 decades now! I enjoy camping, trekking, gardening, politics, eating good food with friends and family, going to the movies and travelling!
I can't wait hear more about you two and about your wedding!
I'm from the south shore of Montreal, Canada. I charge travel fees for weddings that require me to drive more than 2 hours to get there. But no worries, I love travelling! Aside from the Montreal area, I shot weddings and engagement photoshoots in Toronto, in Quebec City and even at Hampton Beach, in the US! I follow
"my" couples wherever they are!
In 2020, it will be my 5th year as a full time wedding photographer. So far, I have photographed a bit more than 50 weddings.
I have a photojournalistic approach and I continuously try to be creative in the way I capture the scene in front of me. Sometimes though, I might move a person or an object, or give a few directions if I feel it will help create a more beautiful picture! It's your day, and I want your pictures to tell the whole story, but also to be as special and epic as possible! I love playing with light, whether it be natural or artificial. And of course, I will also shoot family portraits, so that you have a nice souvenir of the people attending your wedding!
I don't have a studio, but I usually meet clients in their home or public places. When the distance is too far, I do use Skype to meet couples.
I followed one photography class during my landscape architecture studies. Since then, I'm pretty much self-taught and I attend conferences and follow workshops at least once or twice per year. I've had the chance to have teachings by amazing photographers such as Bob Davis, Yervant and Joe McNally (yes, the National Geographic guy)!
If you like my pictures, just contact me so you we can learn more about each other and so you can see if the "fit" between you and I is good!
