Photographing love stories is my passion. The focus of my business is simple: to combine stunning, heartfelt imagery with a first-class customer experience, creating a product that is in a word... breathtaking. I cherish the couples I work with. Therefore, it is with insatiable passion that I approach my work. Every smile, every hand held tight, every tear of joy will be discretely captured naturally as the day unfolds, while also taking the time to paint with light the dramatic images you have so passionately desired. By combining this non-intrusive art of documentary-style storytelling and the beauty of formal portrait photography, you will acquire the images you long for without constantly being interrupted from the one your heart loves. I will work closely with you to schedule your wedding day formal portrait sessions ensuring that every moment of your long-awaited day is enjoyable and each magnificent moment in time is captured.

Where are you located? Do you charge a travel fee for weddings not in your location?

I am located in the Florida Keys and Franklin TN, just outside Nashville. I have two homes and get to enjoy the best of both worlds. The wedding seasons are opposite which allows me to work year round. I am also open to destination weddings and I’m happy to travel wherever your heart desires. I’ve photographed weddings throughout the US and abroad to include California, New York, Connecticut, Virginia, Oregon, Kentucky, Indiana, Atlanta, South Carolina, North Carolina, Bali, London, Mexico …

How long have you been in business? How many weddings have you photographed as the main photographer?

I have been in the business since 2013 and have photographed over 100 weddings.

Describe your "style" of wedding photography.

I am a “story telling photo ninja” throughout the wedding day. When it’s time for formal portraits, my work has a modern photography style with an artistic, high fashion approach. Overall I want my client to feel the emotions of their wedding day when they look at their photos. I also photograph for their future generations. My goal is to evoke the emotion of the day so you feel like you were there next to them.

What are your professional degrees, credentials, affiliations? Have you taken any recent educational workshops or classes?

I am a member of Professional Photographers of America, Fearless Photographers, Wedding Chicks, etc. I have attended WPPI for the last two years and the Fearless conference in 2017. I have taken classes by Susana Barbera, 37 Frames, Alison & Bryan Callaway, David Bastianoni, and Christian Oth. I teach workshops to local photographers and invest in continued education year round. I also own Styled by Southern Bride, a company that hosts luxury photographic events for photographers. I help them elevate their work and get published.

Is there anything else you'd like to share about yourself?

I came in second place in Wedawards Top 30 wedding photographers in the world in 2017. I was also honored with best wedding photographer in the world in 2018 by Wedisson. My work has been featured on HGTV, E!News , Modern Luxury Weddings Magazine, Southern Bride Magazine, Florida Keys Weddings Magazine, The Knot Florida, Wedding Chicks, Kate Aspen Weddings, and many more.

Stacia is hands down one of the most amazing wedding photographers I have ever worked with, and considering my own mother is a wedding photographer I think I have a little experience! She will do anything to get the absolute perfect shot. Climb a tree, sit in a puddle, bend over backwards (quite literally), or suspend herself off of something precariously just so she can get the "one" perfect photo.
The approach she has towards photography is fresh and wonderful. Not only do you get the most beautiful traditional wedding shots but she has an almost seemless way of capturing the raw and real Read More snapshots of the entire ceremony and reception. Seeing the laughing photos of my friends and family brings me as much joy as seeing the posed photos in my wedding dress.

On top of being a consumate professional she is also a lovely woman and seems to have as much fun taking your photo and being a part of your special day as any member of your family.

Stacia is an excellent photographer and one of the sweetest people you will ever meet. She goes above and beyond to make sure you are happy, and will do anything it takes to get the shot! (i.e. laying on the ground to get the best angle, working with vendors to secure beautiful props, etc.) She is very creative and imaginative with her shots, and has won numerous awards for her work.
