JCM Photography is a passionate husband and wife team who make wedding photography fun! We love working with people and you can tell by our work and our interactions with our couples. We aren't afraid to try something new and different. We love hiking, biking, or flying to different destinations for our couples. To us, its more about the experience and the process vs. just the end product. We want our couples to remember the great time they had with us and to also have beautiful photos to remember it by after the fact.

Where are you located? Do you charge a travel fee for weddings not in your location?

We are located in Asheville, NC. We travel all over the world! We do charge for travel over 3 hrs from Asheville.

How long have you been in business? How many weddings have you photographed as the main photographer?

We have been in business for 6 years. As the main photographer, I have shot every wedding we have done along side my husband. We have shot total over 100 and counting....

Describe your "style" of wedding photography.

Fun, candid, photojounalistic. Our goal is to capture the emotion of the day and have the photos be a great representation of how you remembered the day. We like our photos to be colorful and true to the moment.

What's the typical wedding coverage package that you offer? What is the price?

Our typical wedding package includes: $2900.00
8 hours of coverage by 2 photographers (my husband and I)
Engagement/Bridal session before the big day
Printing Rights
Online Digital Album with your final edited images
Thumb drive with your final edited images
16 x 20 canvas
Unlimited email and phone contact
As many consultations as you need to feel comfortable heading into your big day

Do you have a studio where we can meet in-person?

No we do not have a studio, but are happy to meet you at a coffee shop or brewery. We do have Skype and FaceTime.

What are your professional degrees, credentials, affiliations? Have you taken any recent educational workshops or classes?

My bachelors is in Fine Arts with a secondary specialization in Film Photography. My Masters is in Art Education. I taught high school art and photography for 6 years. I then decided to pursue my dreams and became a full time wedding photographer with my husband. We are always learning new things via online classes and webinars. We are currently members of the PPA.
