The friend who drove six hours and can't hold it together during the speeches. The way the room shifts when the first dance starts.
My work is documentary and story-driven. I care about the connection between people, the specific details that make a relationship what it is, and the unrepeatable thing that happens when two people choose each other and pull everyone they love into the same room to witness it.
I think that's one of the wildest, most human things you can do. And I never get tired of being in the room when it happens.
