I have had a camera for 30 years and I still can't explain why I love it so much. It's not a question I ever want to answer. The spark in all of my photography is people. It's about capturing those moments in human relationships where we connect and collide. Good photography will always find those moments. As people we all need to explore, live and feel. Let's do that together on your wedding day.

I have no formulaic approach; it's about a chemistry between you and I. It should be beautiful, simple and be 'you'. The wedding photos that you and I will love have not been born yet, and that prospect excites me more than anything else in my professional world.

It's about people and personalities; it's about family, friends and telling your story. No matter how grand or intimate the setting, how small or large the party, it is about connecting with the people around you and a shared love which transcends even the photography. These are the moments we strive to find and immortalise, and all these moments start with people.

Tell me about your wedding and that's where we start.

Where are you located? Do you charge a travel fee for weddings not in your location?

I'm located in North West England. There's a travel fee outside a 50 mile radius of Todmorden, West Yorkshire. For destination weddings I only charge the travel and accommodation in addition to the wedding day. There is no extra premium unless I am shooting extra days on location.

How long have you been in business? How many weddings have you photographed as the main photographer?

15 years a wedding photographer, 20 before that. I really have lost count of the weddings I have photographed. Hundreds.

Describe your "style" of wedding photography.

Natural, spontaneous and contemporary yet up for creative ideas. All served with a quirky twist.

What's the typical wedding coverage package that you offer? What is the price?

£1995

Do you have a studio where we can meet in-person?

We can video call, meet up or we can try a good old fashioned phone call first. Meeting is always preferable at the outset.

What are your professional degrees, credentials, affiliations? Have you taken any recent educational workshops or classes?

First Class Honours Degree in Photography.

Is there anything else you'd like to share about yourself?

I love being with people. I'm easy going yet professional and am always led by the clients wants, wishes and dreams.
