Awni Mohamad " Awni Vitto"
A Palestinian documentary wedding photographer, fine artist, and visual artist. Born in refugee camps in Syria, I am currently a proud member of the Swedish Artists' National Organization (KRO). My visual journey began in 1997 inside darkrooms, where I mastered the alchemy of light, contrast, and storytelling through the manual development of classic black-and-white films.
With years of experience as a photojournalist for prominent Syrian and international publications-and being a recipient of 5 prestigious photojournalism awards-my eyes are trained to look beyond the obvious. I don't just document events; I capture raw emotions, dramatic juxtapositions, and fleeting human moments.
Since moving to Sweden in 2019, I have brought this fierce journalistic grit and artistic vision into the world of professional wedding photography. To me, a wedding is not a staged event, but a living theater of surreal stories, genuine tears, and hidden geometric frames waiting to be captured "fearlessly."
Come join us, be our companion in this bizarre trip we call life!
