I have worked to stand out in a niche area of wedding photography by specializing in South Asian weddings. My work has stood out because I have been able to capture real emotion and connections between people manifested in beautiful, but fleeting moments they experience during their very unique ceremonies that contain many different rituals and exchanges. I happily cover 20-30 South Asian Weddings per year in the NY/and Philadelphia Metro Area, New England and sometimes abroad.
Where are you located? Do you charge a travel fee for weddings not in your location?
Located in NJ, and I do charge airfare and reasonable accommodation for travel.
How long have you been in business? How many weddings have you photographed as the main photographer?
I've been in business for 10 years full-time, 7 years before that learning about photography. I have photographed more than 200 weddings as the main photographer.
Describe your "style" of wedding photography.
I like to characterize my style as fluid... I don't color the day's events with my presence, but I'm there working silently to capture those beautiful moments between you, your spouse, and your families.
What's the typical wedding coverage package that you offer? What is the price?
Typically about $7400 with three albums, but we start at $6000.
Do you have a studio where we can meet? Do you use Skype?
We can Skype or Facetime, but if you're local I'd much rather meet you in person at my office in Metuchen, NJ.
What are your professional degrees, credentials, affiliations? Have you taken any recent educational workshops or classes?
I'm completely self-taught, but I have an unrelated professional degree in Law.
Is there anything else you'd like to share about yourself?
I'm in to the details... I'm a no stone un-turned type of guy where it's practical. I LOVE what I do, and I spend I've spent a lot of my life doing it, and doing it well.
