As the Founder and Creative Director of Making The Moment, a small intensely creative team of visual storytellers, Brett is a talented, passionate photographer. One of Cleveland's most sought after wedding photographers, Brett's personal approach has helped him achieve a style all his own, with images full of life and personality.

Your wedding photographer is so much more than just a portfolio or a set of "FAQs". Brett believes the heart of good wedding photography is a healthy relationship between a couple and their photographer and that your photographer should be your trusted sidekick on your wedding day.

Where are you located? Do you charge a travel fee for weddings not in your location?

Located in Ohio! I charge actual travel feels [ hotel / airfare / etc ]

How long have you been in business? How many weddings have you photographed as the main photographer?

14 years; I've photographed well over 400 weddings to date.

Describe your "style" of wedding photography.

It's hard to describe my style. Words are really subjective when it comes to describing artwork. Modern? Sure. Fresh? Yup. Candid? Yes. Out of the box? Absolutely. Authentic? Uncompromisingly.

What's the typical wedding coverage package that you offer? What is the price?

My clients typically invest 7-10K in my coverage options.

Do you have a studio where we can meet in-person?

Yes, we have an office in Westlake, Ohio. I lead and direct our team of 8 full time staff members. Yes, I use Skype.

What are your professional degrees, credentials, affiliations? Have you taken any recent educational workshops or classes?

I have a Bachelors of Science in Photography and Video, Am a Fearless Winner, have earned a silver in WPPI's wedding print competition. I am a ten year member of our ILEA where I have won 6 years of "photograph of the year" for the state of ohio, as well as have been internationally recognized with an Esprit Award for my work.

The truth is? Most accolades really don't matter. I have plenty, but can attest that they are meaningless compared to the impact I have on my clients lives through the relationships I form with them, and through the artwork I create to tell their story.

Is there anything else you'd like to share about yourself?

I have three sweet young children; whom I'll share many stories and images of if you ask :) I have a love for retro video games, and an equal love for fine bourbons.
