There is nowhere else I'd rather be on weekend summer nights than at your wedding, camera in hand. From the early-morning makeup application to the late-night rug-cutting, weddings are my jam. I believe in photos that showcase true, gut-busting laughter and goofy, face-consuming smiles. I believe in nighttime photos that are dramatic and add an extra dimension to your wedding album. And lastly, I believe in all the details of your wedding day; the small things, the private moments, the unnoticed personal touches. Your wedding is a story unlike any other, and I'm here to tell it again and again in full, vivid color.
No matter your location, whether it's the Colorado Rocky Mountains, downtown Denver, or Las Vegas, Nevada, I'm ready to learn more about your upcoming celebration. Let's go on a wild wedding safari together.

Where are you located? Do you charge a travel fee for weddings not in your location?

I am based out of Denver but I love shooting all over Colorado (and the world)! For engagement photos, travel is complimentary within an hour of downtown Denver. For weddings, travel is complimentary within two hours of downtown Denver. Feel free to get in touch if you have questions about your venue in regards to any applicable travel fees.

How long have you been in business? How many weddings have you photographed as the main photographer?

I first picked up a camera with the intent of making portraits when I was in 7th grade. I should have known that this was going to be my career, as I was always making my friends take part in impromptu photo shoots at our sleepovers. As a professional wedding photographer, I have been in business since 2010 and have photographed 75 weddings as the lead photographer and over 100 weddings total.

Describe your "style" of wedding photography.

My style is all about your smiles. Weddings are joyous, emotional events and I aim to capture just that. I want you to look back through the photos after the wedding with tears (the good ones!) in your eyes as you relive the sentiment from the day. Nostalgia is a beautiful thing.

What's the typical wedding coverage package that you offer? What is the price?

My most popular package includes two photographers, a complimentary one-hour engagement session, digital hi-res images with print release, a $200 album credit and a 16x20 canvas print for $4000.

Do you have a studio where we can meet? Do you use Skype?

I am more than happy to meet you wherever is convenient! I love the lounge at Hotel Teatro, Corvus Coffee off South Broadway (their cold brew is killer), and Denver Beer Co. for meetings. If you have a favorite place, let's meet there! I also am happy to Skype/Google Chat/FaceTime with you if you are out of state.

What are your professional degrees, credentials, affiliations? Have you taken any recent educational workshops or classes?

As an artist, there is never an end in sight to learning as much as possible about this craft. I am constantly taking online courses, attending and even creating workshops for creatives in the Denver area. I 100% believe in community over competition and that we can all better ourselves by learning from and enriching each other.

Is there anything else you'd like to share about yourself?

+ I go to yoga five times a week — to work off all the burritos I inhale while lounging with my roommates.
+ I collect postcards from the places I visit — to recapture the memories I’ve created long after I returned home.
+ My corgi, Sherman, is the light and love of my life — because and in spite of her sassy little attitude.
+ I pull out the shoebox of letters and gifts I saved from my granddad often — to remember him and the lessons he imparted with each token of his love.
+ I was obsessed with The X-Files in the 90s — I became a photographer only after failing to become a clone of Special Agent Dana Scully.
+ I taught high school French for five years, and teaching will always be part of who I am — giving back to the Colorado wedding community inspires me and builds me up.
+ The Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk is one of my favorite places to explore — as a kid and as an adult.
+ I’m relearning how to ice skate after a childhood on the ice — but my old rainbow, tie-dyed and crushed velvet dress will be staying in the closet!
