I started by photographing travel, landscapes and animals but quickly fell in love with the beauty and vibrancy that I found in photographing people. I was drawn to wedding photography as it is natural and candid. People watching with a purpose. I can observe from a distance, then capture real life, instead of scripted life. I like to focus on all the happiness of a wedding day. When I photograph I am drawn to all the emotions; I want my finished wedding album to represent this. You'll find that the majority of my photos to be of people smiling, laughing and occasionally happy crying.
I have stayed with wedding photography as it involves everything that motivates me. Meeting new people, a predictable workload and I can truly be creative. It still challenges me and keeps me on my toes. I'm constantly pushing myself to get the best images for my clients.
I am lucky to be based in both Edinburgh and London. I don't charge for travel as I love exploring new places and wouldn't want to miss out on a chance of going far away.
I've been in business since 2011 and have photographed over 150 weddings as the main photographer.
I offer a personalised photography service with a natural approach for your wedding day. I focus on the real moments of joy taking place at your wedding. At your wedding I don’t hide, I blend in like a friend. I dress like a guest, chat with guests and act like a guest. My aim is to fit right in with your friends and family like they were my friends and family. No cheese, no stuffiness, no demands, just maximum effort and maximum fun!
Typically I get to know you at a pre-wedding photoshoot then I stay all day at your wedding. When I say all day I mean there is no time limit, you decide when I come and go. Everything is included (travel too) for £1499, albums and prints are extra.
I use Skype, Whatsapp, Zoom... any way you want to contact me is fine. My studio is in Stockbridge, Edinburgh, Scotland where I'd love to meet you.
I'm a massive fan of travelling, 38 countries and counting. Where was you favourite holiday?
