Amanda Adams Photography has been an active photographer in the DMV area for 11 years. She is an East Coast wedding photographer based in Charlottesville and servicing the surrounding DMV area. She travels from the bucolic scenery of Virginia to the historic venues of the D.C. Capital. For the romantics, the memory-makers, and the in-it-for-a-lifetime couples, she's there! Where are you located? Do you charge a travel fee for weddings not in your location?

I'm located in Charlottesville, VA, also servicing the surrounding DC Metro area. No travel fees are collected unless an overnight stay is required of the photography team.

How long have you been in business? How many weddings have you photographed as the main photographer?

Amanda has been in business for 12 years, photographing weddings full-time. She has had the honor of photographing over 300 weddings, families, and engagement sessions.

What's the typical wedding coverage package that you offer? What is the price?

I like to tell my couples that the "sweet spot" for hours of coverage on a wedding day is 8 hours. But this really depends on what's important for you to have covered. I also encourage couples to have an engagement portrait session so they can learn how their photographer works. Our typical wedding coverage package includes those things - 8 hours of coverage, an engagement session, and a second photographer.

Do you have a studio where we can meet in-person?

We do not currently have a traditional studio set-up so our consultations are held over the phone and over Zoom.

What are your professional degrees, credentials, affiliations? Have you taken any recent educational workshops or classes?

Amanda is currently an active member of PPA (Professional Photographers of America), The Motherhood Anthology, and Fearless Photographers.

Is there anything else you'd like to share about yourself?

In my free time you'll probably find me in our backyard apiary tending to our honeybees and playing with our corgi puppy, Parker.
