Extended Play Photography is a husband and wife team that specializes in authentic documentary wedding photography. We believe that wedding photography should tell a story, that planning should be simple and enjoyable, and that we do our best work when we have a connection with the bride and groom. We make sure to capture the beauty of the day, the small but important moments, the love between you, your partner, and your friends, and also that time your groomsman "fell asleep" in the women's bathroom. We just love weddings, people, and beautiful photography.

Where are you located? Do you charge a travel fee for weddings not in your location?

We are based out of Albuquerque, New Mexico, but we love to travel for weddings and fun.

How long have you been in business? How many weddings have you photographed as the main photographer?

We have been in business for 5 years now, and have shot over 30 weddings (we limit ourselves to less than 10 weddings per year) as primary photographers.

Describe your "style" of wedding photography.

We primarily focus on documentary or photojournalism style, and prefer more artistic shots that incorporate beautiful light and real moments. We also work hard to make our portraits tell a story, incorporating the environment of the venue and the personality of the couple.

What's the typical wedding coverage package that you offer? What is the price?

We only offer 1 package because we really think things should be as simple as possible. For $3000 you get a full day's coverage, usage rights to all edited photos via an online gallery which you can share with guests, and some time to get to know us beforehand. For an additional $1000 we will design a beautiful, high-quality album for you.

Do you have a studio where we can meet? Do you use Skype?

No studio (we work on location to keep our creativity piqued and to tell your story rather than ours), and yes, we use Skype!

What are your professional degrees, credentials, affiliations? Have you taken any recent educational workshops or classes?

I have participated in the Two Mann workshop (Balls Out) and LOVED it! I am also planning on attending the Real Life Photography Conference this November with Erika Mann.

Is there anything else you'd like to share about yourself?

We are fun. I mean, seriously. And we work hard to make beautiful photographs of your wedding day, while also hopefully making you feel like you've gained some good friends in the process.
