Hi, I'm Theo, and I help couples getting married capture the true story of their wedding day without forced, uncomfortable poses by giving them space to be themselves and fully experience the present moment. In my 18 years as a wedding photographer, I discovered that life is too short to be anything but exactly who you are. I believe in honesty, I support authenticity and I strive for meaningfulness. I know memories can lose their edges quickly. And I know that memories are the only things we're left with. I do my best to create wedding photography that honours all of that.

Where are you located? Do you charge a travel fee for weddings not in your location?

I am located in The Hague and I travel for weddings all over the Netherlands. I also travel for photo projects and I am available in my home country of Romania and all over the World.

How long have you been in business? How many weddings have you photographed as the main photographer?

I have been a photographer my whole professional life and I have been focusing on wedding photography from the beginning of my career, 18 years ago. I have photographed more than 400 weddings until now.

Describe your "style" of wedding photography.

In my perspective, a wedding is a celebration of love between two individuals and all the dear ones who surround and support them. For me, the true essence of wedding photography lies in capturing those profound moments, genuine human connections, and unfiltered emotions. My photographic style is rooted in the principles of photojournalism. I believe in candid, unposed moments that authentically reflect your unique love story. However, I also understand that some couples value portraits and family photos, so we can certainly allocate time for heartfelt couples' portraits and group shots with your loved ones if that's your preference. Ultimately, my goal is to provide you with a collection of images that are candid, relaxed, and brimming with heartfelt authenticity – images that narrate the beautiful story of who you truly are.

Do you have a studio where we can meet in-person?

I usually hold meetings online, via skype, whatsapp, facetime or zoom. You are welcome at my home if you want to meet in person, look through albums and chat over a coffee.
