I am Belgian by birth, but I have been living in Italy since 1998. I have been married to Lina since 1999, and we have a daughter, Valentina, born in 2001. My photography career began with portraiture, but for the past twelve years, I have dedicated myself entirely to wedding photography.
My photography philosophy is 'No rule is good enough not to be broken'. I am always looking for unconventional angles. I love shadows and direct sunlight, backlighting. Outside in the dark or at sunset, and when it's disco time, I really enjoy creating special effects using off-camera flashes.
My team consists of six professionals, including photographers and videographers, and we speak Italian, English, French, and Dutch. We are based in Tortona (near the border of the Piedmont, Lombardy, and Liguria regions), so we mainly operate in Northern Italy, but we naturally travel beyond as well. We work primarily with Italian couples, but we have also worked on Destination Weddings with Belgian, Dutch, French, German, Canadian, American, and Scottish clients. We also do elopements, of course.
