From a very young age I always showed a more creative side and video and photography has always been a big part of my life. I feel a sense of fulfilment capturing life's precious times. Once those magic moments have happened you can't get them back. You can remember them but memories fade, video or photo's certainly don't( not these days anyway). Video came to me first. Capturing, editing then watching people's reactions as they watch their memories back is hugely rewarding to me. Freezing time in a single shot was always pulling me away from video and eventually succeeded. The ability to tell a lifetime of stories in one shot was too appealing. Photography allows you to be more creative, allows you to see the world In a completely different way. As you become a better photographer (I must add there is no perfect photographer you are always learning) you see more beauty in the world. Light becomes the most beautiful and valuable thing around you. Time doesn't exist just shutter speeds and movement. You fall in love with photography, it drives you to your limits and further and you want it, you so want that perfect shot.

Once you find something your good at in life you feel more confident in all other aspects of your life and for me that something is Photography. This is me, this is what I was meant to be.
