Its taken me 8+ years, 200 weddings and connecting personally with so many of my couples to understand the difference between my approach photographing a wedding and everyone else's. Many photographers think hiring them is a journey of you discovering about them and how they work. I believe this is a journey of discovery of you: who you are as individuals and as a couple, what brought you to today, what you love about each other and why you're choosing to spend the rest of your life with one another. This is where meaningful photographs are made. My goal is to know you both so well when your wedding day arrives that I can photograph you as your partner sees you and your partner as you see them.

Where are you located? Do you charge a travel fee for weddings not in your location?

I photograph weddings locally in Philadelphia, the Lehigh Valley, New York City, and New Jersey. Weddings have taken me all over the country from Cape Cod, MA to Savannah, GA and Baltimore, MD to Boulder, CO and internationally in Germany, Spain, Curacao, Jamaica, and Mexico, many of which you’ll see in my galleries!

How long have you been in business? How many weddings have you photographed as the main photographer?

I've been a professional photographer for over 12 years, but 6 of them for myself. I started my business in January of 2010 and have photographed around 150 weddings!

Describe your "style" of wedding photography.

I consider myself like a family historian mixed with a fine artist. My primary goal is to is to capture your wedding day exactly as it unfolds naturally. While I take a very active approach to helping my couples plan their wedding day, I do my best to blend in an interfere as little as possible. Because after all, those quick, in-between candid moments are the ones you will want to remember years from now. When it comes time for portraits, I will offer direction and help pose you to create images that will delight and surprise you for years to come!

Do you have a studio where we can meet? Do you use Skype?

I always love a face-to-face meeting, but many of my couples live a couple hours away, in separate states or just have incredibly busy lives. As a result, many of my initial meetings are over Skype. Email can be very thorough but I always love to chat on the phone or on Skype. I've had many first meetings over Skype and FaceTime. Recently, one of my couples was broadcasting from Colorado, so all of my meetings happened when they got home from work or 10pm my time! Regardless of the medium in which we connect, it all comes back to comfort on your wedding day, and great communication is the first step.
