In 1999 I photographed my first wedding. I still photograph with pleasure and love. I treat wedding couples as I want to be treated myself. This creates a relaxed atmosphere that allows the bride and groom to be themselves. This results in casual and spontaneous photos. I like to look at the surroundings, I try to put the bride and groom in a beautiful way so the total pictures are correct. Whether married in the Netherlands or abroad, I am honored if I can record this in an unforgettable way.

In 2000 I won the national competition and in 2001 the regional competition of "De Kunstbende", in 2009 I won the national competition of the Professional Imaging, in 2013 I was nominated for the Bridal Photo Award and in 2015 I won the national competition Bridal Photo award.

Where are you located? Do you charge a travel fee for weddings not in your location?

The studio is located in Amsterdam, for marriages no travel costs are calculated within the mainland of the Netherlands. Parking costs are charged afterwards.

How long have you been in business? How many weddings have you photographed as the main photographer?

In 1999 I photographed my first wedding. Since 2006 I am co-owner of ASA Foto & Video.

Describe your "style" of wedding photography.

Actually I am a chameleon :-) I adapt to the wishes of the customer. In any case, there are spontaneous photos in my shoots as well as stylized photographs. Details, overviews, emotions etc. in short a beautiful reflection of the day. I first try to find a beautiful composition with beautiful light and then I put my wedding couple in so that the picture is complete.
Photographing marriages some photographers experience as stressful. Personally I find it the most relaxed form of photography, it is usually super cozy, everyone is nicely dressed, the environment is beautiful and I can shoot beautiful pictures.

What's the typical wedding coverage package that you offer? What is the price?

Currently the most popular package is a base of 6 hours of photography including 80 photos of your choice in a luxury bound lay-flat album, sturdy pages, beautiful cover, luxury packaging, one pocket album, all selected photos digitally in high resolution and all photos on social media quality, slideshow file, an online delivery code and a loveshoot price from € 1999, -

Do you have a studio where we can meet in-person?

In the studio I have a separate information room where we can sit quietly to discuss all wishes. If it is not possible to come to the studio, it is also possible to contact us by telephone, e-mail or via skipe.

What are your professional degrees, credentials, affiliations? Have you taken any recent educational workshops or classes?

For four years I have studied photography, two years of which also with film. As a trainee I worked at the company which I took over in 2006. I regularly follow seminars to keep abreast of recent developments.

Is there anything else you'd like to share about yourself?

On the wedding day I always get dressed so that I get in the guests. Do you have a theme color I like it so that I can also tailor my clothing if possible.

I like to make people happy with beautiful pictures, I get my satisfaction from that.

Photographing is more than a profession for me, it is my passion.
