When people come in and ask me for pretty pictures, presented in a classical way, I tell them to look for another photographer. Because with me you'll receive something different.

We don't want pictures that show you, your family and friends posing with a big smile on their faces. We want the pictures to have a true emotional value. We want to capture the true emotions of your wedding day. We try to intervene as little as possible, but catch the moments that really matter.
During the wedding shoot the couple will receive my guidance and advice to make the shoot into a really fun experience. The emotional and artistic photos will remind the couple of their perfect day.
As a fulltime wedding photographer I obtained the necessary knowledge and technical skills to work the camera and to afterwards put the best contrast, colour, and details into the pictures. Pictures can be delivered in different presentation: albums, animated slideshows, collage, cards or big size printings on different materials.

I am also co-founder of VZW Studio, the association for professional photographers. It is important to me to defend the interests of the professional photographer end it gives me the chance to constantly improve my skills, through their workshops and courses.

I love to capture real moments, the stuff that happens in a blink of an eye: little glances, funny mishaps, tender moments. The stuff that really matters and what dreams are made of! Yes, you could say that I am a romantic...but lets just say a romantic without the pretty flowers and meadows. I like everything unfiltered and hope to capture the things that are unsaid, what lies beneath...

Not that I don't like flowers and meadows as long as it belongs to your story! Every photoshoot is like a little treasure hunt to me and I like to be taken on an adventure wherever that might be. Some stories are big, wild and far away...others lie just behind the corner! I can't wait to see what you have in store for me!

Hi! I'm Nele. I live in Gent with the best guy a girl can have. His name is Toon and I love him to bits. He is a master mixologist and barista, loves to dance *maybe* more than me, and we compete for the best hair of our house. Together, we have made my other two favorite humans on the planet.

Rein is my firstborn and along with making us laugh everyday, her curious heart bombards us with 'why' questions hourly. Our littlest, Siebe, is also our hungriest and never fails to ask us if he can have a cookie about every 15 minutes of the day. I hope you look at each other the way Siebe looks at a cookie - with the deepest affection.

I am a curious person. I adore travel and seeing the world in which we live. I believe it is curiosity that makes me love wedding photography so much. Being drawn to funny things that happen on a wedding day, capturing the subtle gestures and expressions people use to communicate with one another and all the unexpected moments that color the day, make me happy.
