Love what you do and it will show in your work. I graduated and worked as an engineer a few years but took a 180° turn in life to become a professional photographer. And up to today, I keep on pinching myself thinking this is a dream and I don't regret that choice whatsoever. Not even a second. Hi! My name is Sanne, a documentary people photographer based in Antwerp, Belgium. I've been shooting weddings professionally since 2017. In my work I love to show humanity and connection. To me, photography is the language I use, to share my inner world. Life isn't very glamorous, neither are weddings. We are just people and I love to show the quirky, funny, individual characteristics of people in my pictures.

When people come in and ask me for pretty pictures, presented in a classical way, I tell them to look for another photographer. Because with me you'll receive something different.

We don't want pictures that show you, your family and friends posing with a big smile on their faces. We want the pictures to have a true emotional value. We want to capture the true emotions of your wedding day. We try to intervene as little as possible, but catch the moments that really matter.
During the wedding shoot the couple will receive my guidance and advice to make the shoot into a really fun experience. The emotional and artistic photos will remind the couple of their perfect day.
As a fulltime wedding photographer I obtained the necessary knowledge and technical skills to work the camera and to afterwards put the best contrast, colour, and details into the pictures. Pictures can be delivered in different presentation: albums, animated slideshows, collage, cards or big size printings on different materials.

I am also co-founder of VZW Studio, the association for professional photographers. It is important to me to defend the interests of the professional photographer end it gives me the chance to constantly improve my skills, through their workshops and courses.

I want to capture all the joy that you, your friends, and your family experience in a calm and non-invasive way, with a strong focus on emotions, moments and children.

While I still shoot key moments, some details and decor of "a" wedding day, I want to put into images the specific ways in which your wedding couldn't be anyone else's. It is my goal to provide you with memories of what your wedding day felt like.

Wedding journalism. That's how I describe my approach of your wedding day. Almost like a story, ready to be published in a quality paper. While skillfully avoiding traditional poses, I try to distill spontaneous and lively souvenirs from you big dag. I will not give you a classical wedding album. But you won't mind.

I discretely move my photographic gaze between the big and small moments on your wedding day. I will portray the tender gestures, the crazy moments as well as the occasional stressy-ness. My images often contain a wink and a smile. The day is after all a festive occasion. Every wedding story I make is therefore a pièce unique.

Constantly looking for little moments next to the bigger ones. What is your story and connection?

She has the ability to feel the moment, to see it with her heart and to click. Connecting herself with the emotions of the people, place, what the moment gives...
