My name is Jacob Gordon, I am a wedding photographer based in Perth, Western Australia. Wedding photography is my passion, I am extremely passionate and enthusiastic about my work. Every couple I meet has a unique and special story. I take great pride in being able to tell this story and create everlasting moments for you to cherish.

I'm a Perth wedding photographer and I'm all about documenting your day with your nearest and dearest. Natural expressions and candid moments are my jam. I want my clients to be in the moment. Look back on their day and say 'this is us'. I'm all for dramatic lighting, not looking at the camera and capturing the moment.

Husband to a lovely lady, seafood lover and keen traveller. I am fascinated by people and I am visually drawn to emotions. I am passionate about weddings because of the emotional roller coaster the day brings. The fleeting moments is what I live for, and I am passionate and grateful that I can leave a visual heritage for those who celebrate love and marriage.

Being a wedding photographer is the best. It's always great fun, the joy is abundant and I make a whole bunch of new friends every time. My images tend to be quite emotional, and my style is natural, fresh and fun.

I love photos that are real, and so I spend my time chasing shots that tell the true story of you - the laughter, the tears, the goofy looks, the hands-in-the-air moments, and the details that you've poured your own heart into. All those in-between moments that are the bones of your story, the things that hold it's shape and make it unique.

When you look back over your photos, I want you to be completely blown away. I want you to feel everything you were feeling when they were taken, and to do that, I climb right into your story, with you. It's cosy, it's intimate, and it how we make beautiful, honest and creative images together. I'm often told that having me as a wedding photographer is like having a really organised, really fun extra bridesmaid along for the ride, and I think that's just lovely.

Weddings are one of the most important events in someone's life. And these are the moments that surely cannot be missed. There are laughters and tears, happiness and joy at weddings.

I always want to bring that something different to the table and night photography became a big standout for me for my wedding photography. It is always a challenge to think of that something new to try without setting something on fire :)

It's been a long journey finding myself where I am now, and I genuinely believe that we wouldn't be where we are today if we hadn't walked our path and lived through our experiences. All my life I've been driven to be a little different and I like to think there is beauty in everything that we do.

"It's never about the destination it's about the journey", and that sticks with absolutely everything. Love what you do, not just what you create.

"Art/Beauty is in the eye of the beholder" I never really thought I had an eye for Photography until others started pointing it out to me. But I do realise. I drive myself a little crazy sometimes with how to make a scene look even better than what we see with the human eye. My Photography took a turn in 2018. Where I wanted to create something from how I see it, instead of what you were taught how a photograph should be captured or what the latest trends are. So to attract anyone interested in my Art is a big deal to me.
