I shoot weddings but MARRIAGE is what I'm really passionate about. I believe that a strong marriage is the foundation for a stable home so I want you to relive every moment of your wedding day. The emotions, the elation and everything in between because whilst you think I'm capturing love stories (which I suppose I am), I'm really there to document the making of a promise. One I want you to keep all of your days so here, we specialise in creative and beautiful ways to remind you of that promise for years to come.

Myself and my partner Mikala are a Sunshine Coast based photographer duo. We quit our design jobs to travel the world. We traveled to 44 countries on 6 continents and photographed numerous weddings in that time. We haven't stopped photographing them since.

Documenting love stories is what we do best. We take a relaxed and personal approach to wedding photography. For most of your wedding day you won't really notice us as we like to let your day unfold naturally without interference from us. Photographing couples on their happiest day makes us happy.

Skipping Stone Photography started in the Canadian prairies in 2008, when we spent long cold winters perfecting our craft. Since then we've moved to Sydney and have had an amazing time shooting weddings all over New South Wales and internationally, in England, Fiji and Canada.

A key challenge to wedding photography is how the story gets told. This is where a photographer's point of view comes into play. Often the most telling photographs are those that are unplanned and happen in an authentic way.

Florent fully immerses himself in every wedding, and his ability to anticipate and capture 'real life' moments' without directing them, is what Florent has built a reputation on. "On the wedding day I am everywhere and nowhere. This day is about you and the commitment that you're making. I like to capture your day as naturally as possible and I am very careful in preserving the mood of each moment."

Florent Vidal is considered as one of Australia's most respected wedding photographers. With two studios in NSW: Sydney (Randwick) and Port Stephens, Florent spends most of his time photographing weddings around Australia and Europe (June to August).
