I am a wedding photographer originally from Wales, now based in Cheltenham, Cotswolds, England, though I travel all through the UK and abroad.

Andy Gaines is a photographer based in the north of England and working all over the UK and Europe. A focus on story telling, Andy takes a natural documentary approach to weddings. I am a UK-based wedding photographer, based near London, but travelling all over the world for amazing weddings, meeting amazing people. I love to create beautiful collections of images, documenting your wedding day as it happens.

Originally from the beautiful Cathedral city of Lincoln, I spent almost 2 decades living in London before relocating to the east Kent coast. I now live a stone's throw from the beach with the two men in my life; Steve, another wedding photographer and Ozzy our French bulldog.

I travel all over the UK and sometimes further afield for weddings. I thrive on shooting somewhere new, and approach every wedding with the same enthusiasm. Every wedding is unique, and as such I won't produce formulaic or contrived images, but rather react to what is happening in front of me to capture the very essence of you, as individuals, and how you have chosen to celebrate your day.

My background is in Fine Art and it creeps into my work, from how I use natural light creatively, to how I frame the scene in front of me. I will photograph your day without direction, intervention or prompting. Real moments, real emotions, captured discreetly and creatively to tell the unique story of your day.

I've always loved capturing true, honest moments, and for me there's no single event that best encapsulates all the emotions we go through, than a wedding. Excitement, nerves, relief, elation - it's all there, and it's about letting you relax and enjoy the day you've spent all those hours on planning, whilst I go about ensuring all those memories are never forgotten.

I genuinely care about every couple. The intention behind each wedding is unwavering: create a unique wedding story the couple will fall totally in love with. No set poses, no set routines, not a repetition of someone else's wedding. In-the-moment creativity shared between us. Entirely Unique, just how it should be.

I am a London wedding photographer, documenting amazing weddings all over the UK and world. I love what I do. Weddings are the most fantastic occasions, full of energy and vibrancy . They are wonderful family events that are just bursting with emotion, and they are a joy to photograph.

I'm a visual storyteller. I want everyone who looks at my photographs to enjoy them for what they are, but for each couple, I want my photographs to spark even more wonderful memories.
