Living both in the Nederlands (Breda) and Italy (Bassano del Grappa) has made my life and work a lot more energetic. I thrive on photographing different cultures and it's amazing to see two different cultures come together on a wedding. It is very special for me to be able to experience the love between you and your friends / family up close. Each family has their own habits and shared memories, which makes every wedding unique and challenging for me. Storytelling, real and humor are three terms that stick with me.

My goal as a photographer is to tell the real story of your special day, without being too present and directive. I love to 'go with the flow' of the day to get the most spontaneous, fun and sincere moments on photo.

If people tell me that they were very comfortable all day long, and that they almost forgot I was in their company, I take that as a big compliment! That means to me that I captured real emotions and moments, exactly what I'm aiming at.

Enjoy! We take care of all the rest. Your wedding, a relaxed day of which you want to take in every second and enjoy without being interrupted by a photographer. This is something we understand very well, which is why we have perfected the art of blending in with your guests and make sure capture the whole day without being seen. "Within minutes we did not even notice you were there" is the compliment we hear often and it is something which makes us very proud!

A tear rolling down your mother's or father's cheak? Your grandmother laughing so hard it hurts? We capture it all! We happen to have an extra sharp eye for emotions and capturing the moment. During photography we use humor and we do not stage anything. By now we have photogaphed over 300 weddings and there is one thing we are absolutely sure of: when you are enjoying yourselves we take the best pictures!

When I was young, I never stood out.. I was extremely sensitive and wanted to care for everyone around me. That wasn't always easy. Colours, sounds, and emotions hit me hard. But now, since i've became a wedding photographer, it finally makes sense. It helps me capture every little moment that happens during your special day. Friends and family describe me as an enthusiastic young woman who works and lives in opposites. I fell in love with wedding photography after getting married myself. My goal is to capture that magical feeling of a wedding day with all it's intense emotions and lovely details, without directing or interfering these precious moments. No tricks, fixed poses or props; every wedding-shoot tells it's unique story.

As a wedding photographer, you are part of a very intimate and personal happening. You literally come close to the bride and groom and their family. I find it therefore important that you feel at ease and comfortable with me and the way I work.
