I was born in 1976 in the heart of the Valley of the Temples in Agrigento, and I have lived between Trentino, Emilia, and Rome.
A freelance storyteller trained at the photography schools "Officine Fotografiche" in Rome and "John Kaverdash" in Milan, I work on social reportage projects as well as advertising and communication campaigns.
My love for photography began with the contemplation of empty, inanimate spaces, but over the years it evolved into an interest in the human figure and its surrounding environment.
Music is my other great passion. What I express through the ambient music I compose carries the same evocative and melancholic mood that I seek in photography.
In 2014, I won first prize in the National Geographic Italia contest in the People category, and over the years I have achieved good results in national and international competitions such as the Siena International Photo Awards, Smithsonian Photo Contest, and Hamdan International Photography Award.
