Making joyful photos for soulful people in Pittsburgh and Beaver County, PA - a.k.a. Rustbelt Mayberry - since 2015.
All couples and all families are loved and welcome here. Cat Moms especially!
I live in Ambridge (Beaver County, PA and frequently travel to Pittsburgh and within 2 hours of Pittsburgh. For travel outside 2 hours, I do ask for mileage reimbursement (at the current federal rate) and for hotel accommodations to be covered. Other than that, I don't charge a travel fee.
I've been photographing people and community events since 2015, and began photographing weddings in 2019. I have covered 14 weddings, mostly solo without a second photographer. I always offer my couples the option to have a second photographer to document even more moments!
My style of wedding photography is to be up close, in the action, always observing and seeking the story of your unique wedding, there as your friend with a camera. This allows me to make authentic, emotional, joyful photos of your most special wedding day moments. My editing style is true-to-life, with vibrant colors and striking black-and-whites. I often use lighting for creative portraits and always use off-camera flash at receptions (for a more dynamic, dramatic feel).
$4,200 with a second photographer or $3,600 with me only.
I'd love to meet up at your local coffee shop, chat here on my porch, or FaceTime/Skype. All are super fun, especially when your pets (or mine) make an appearance!
- 2016: Chosen as an "Emerging Artist" by the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust and received a scholarship to display my landscape and community storytelling photos at the Three Rivers Arts Festival in Pittsburgh, PA.
- I invest a ton of time and money in my craft, particularly, how to become a better storyteller and improve my documentary skills. In 2021-22 and 2022-23, I learned from two of the best during Erika & Lanny Mann's 14-week "Metanoia" semester. It was a game-changer for my work!
- My work has been published in the Beaver County Times, Ambridge Connection, Keystone Edge, Visit Beaver County, and in numerous communications and marketing materials of community organizations, colleges, and small businesses.
- I’m a founding member of a local arts initiative, The Genesis Collective, which is working to support artists and build community in Beaver County.
If you are looking for wedding photos you can FEEL and a photographer who will leave it all on the field, then I’m your gal! I can’t wait to hear from you!
