I create images that reflect the uniqueness of the people I am photographing, highlighting who they are and the relationships between them. Every person, every relationship, and every family is different, each having little quirks and features that make them perfect in their own way. This is what makes me fall in love with an image; the small details, the idiosyncrasies, and the nuances that makes us different and unique. It's our true souls shining through all the layers of our lives. It's these moments that really show who you are and the story of your day. I would rather photograph these expressions that are a true reflection of my subjects than images with perfect posing and perfect lighting. Often though, I'm lucky enough to get both.

Where are you located? Do you charge a travel fee for weddings not in your location?

I am located in Cape Elizabeth, Maine. I photograph weddings in Maine only, no travel fee.

How long have you been in business? How many weddings have you photographed as the main photographer?

I have been shooting weddings professionally as the main (one and only) photographer for 10 years. My first wedding where I was the main photographer was in 2006. I typically shoot solo and prefer to do so and photograph about 12 weddings per year. I also am a family photographer in the Portland area.

Describe your "style" of wedding photography.

maybe authentic.
My "sytle" is me. My personality; who I am; my presence in a room. When I photograph a wedding that's it. I real trueness shines through. When a 2d image feel almost 4d in the emotions it creates. that's something more than just photon captured.

What's the typical wedding coverage package that you offer? What is the price?

Full Day Wedding Coverage Starts at $4500 and covers up to 10 hours of coverage anywhere in Maine.

Do you have a studio where we can meet? Do you use Skype?

I'm working on my studio as I type. It will be built in the foot hill of the White Mountains in the lovely town of Newry, Maine. It will be a gorgeous A Frame studio, beautiful deck hidden in the woods high in the mountains. Of course; facing west. I hope to have it open for appointments in 2023.

What are your professional degrees, credentials, affiliations? Have you taken any recent educational workshops or classes?

I have an RN, BSN and OCN. Yup.. I'm a registered heme/onc/infusion nurse at Maine Medical Center too. As for photography.. I'm a member of PPA. I studied photography at Uconn - it was just 3 credits and part of my graphic design undergrad. The rest was self taught over the past 20 years.

Is there anything else you'd like to share about yourself?

I'm a dad to two great kids (one's a teenager now!). That still shocks me. I met my wife in Greece while backpacking through Europe. She's British and blond and gorgeous. We got married in London and then again in the Cotswolds. Our son was the best man at both weddings. As you might know, I am also a cancer nurse at Maine Medical Center. I also do Yoga everyday.
