My primary objective is to deliver captivating photographs of those moments for your family to relive and cherish for generations.I have an easy-going, relaxed approach to my wedding photography. I'm a low stress, zero hassle kind of guy. I don't invite drama. I'm not into making your wedding a production or photoshoot. Your comfort in front of my camera is paramount to me and my process. I look to use the best light and creative compositions in my photography while respecting your space and the authenticity of the moments between you and your wedding guests.
I am based in Kingston, Ontario, but travel across Southern Ontario shooting weddings primarily in and around Kingston, Prince Edward County, Toronto, and Ottawa.
I'm 5 years in business and have shot around 100 weddings as a main photographer.
I would say my shooting style is largely documentary, but blended with creative, natural portraiture. I'm don't bound myself to the rules of a true photojournalist and I try to get creative with compositions, setting, posing (for portraits) when documenting your wedding. My editing style is true to colour with a bit of added warmth and contrast. I love black and whites and use them regularly to highlight emotion and simplicity when applicable.
I definitely believe that the main events of the day should be photographed. My most popular package is 9 hours of coverage and is $2000.
I always like to meet for a coffee or drink for local couples, but due to COVID meetings are on FaceTime or Zoom, with the hope that we can meet in person prior to the wedding!
