Hello I'm Rick. Friends say that I am in touch with my feminine side and therefore quite sensitive. I think that's not too bad and looks pretty tough on the outside. That doesn't stop me from seeing and capturing all the emotions at a wedding. I have a radar for tears even before they're wiped away, but even an upcoming burst of laughter isn't safe from the emo target seeker on my camera.
It is nice to capture the emotions during a wedding and to be part of the whole and "family" that day. But I can also enjoy the preparation and it is super fun to live towards the day together with the bridal couple. We usually do that during a love shoot or during the intake interview where we can almost see the whole day ahead of us.
Before, during and after the wedding I always have contact with the bridal couple from the first conversation until the last photo is delivered in a beautiful album or whatever the wish is. "Caring for" is woven into my character and that is a beautiful quality during a marriage. For me, this is also inextricably linked to photography and emotion.
