I am a wedding photographer based in the Lake Tahoe region. Although I have shot several hundred weddings in this area, my background is in photojournalism, having been a staff photographer for the Associated Press based in Latin America for many years in the 1990s as well as lead alpine event photographer for USA Today for the Salt Lake and Torino winter olympics. I am a semi-pro skier and whitewater kayaker and love anything to do with the outdoors.
Where are you located? Do you charge a travel fee for weddings not in your location?
Located in Lake Tahoe but we shoot many weddings in the Bay Area for a small travel fee.
How long have you been in business? How many weddings have you photographed as the main photographer?
We have been in business since 2001 and have shot over 500 weddings.
Describe your "style" of wedding photography.
We are former photojournalists at major newspapers our style is documentary with a touch of fashion on the portraits.
What's the typical wedding coverage package that you offer? What is the price?
Typical package includes the coverage, online gallery, proof prints and high resolution digital files. Prices vary depending on the length of coverage.
Do you have a studio where we can meet? Do you use Skype?
We work out of the home but love to meet our couples in person at coffee shops or restaurants. We can also chat by phone or video.
What are your professional degrees, credentials, affiliations? Have you taken any recent educational workshops or classes?
MBA in journalism from San Jose State. We are members of several photography associations and are continually attending workshops for inspiration and to further our craft.
