Like many veterans, when I left the military I struggled to find purpose again. Searching for a calling, I discovered wedding photography while studying photojournalism in college. I had found my passion! After 8 years of capturing hundreds of weddings I understand what it takes to document the essence of your big day. I go the extra mile to understand your unique needs and values, preserve the fleeting moments, and showcase your wedding with creative, emotional, and authentic photography.
When I'm not photographing awesome couples, you can find me on the golf course, exploring wine country, or sharing time with my wife in the Sacramento delta or in the Sierra mountains.

Where are you located? Do you charge a travel fee for weddings not in your location?
I'm located in Sacramento, California. For local weddings, I charge $1/ mile after 50 miles outside of Sacramento.
How long have you been in business? How many weddings have you photographed as the main photographer?
I've photographed over 180 weddings within the last 8 years.

Do you have a studio where we can meet in-person?
I like to meet at wineries or breweries. I also use Zoom, but prefer to meet in person.
What are your professional degrees, credentials, affiliations? Have you taken any recent educational workshops or classes?
Bachelor degree in photojournalism.
Is there anything else you'd like to share about yourself?
I'm an Army veteran that deployed twice to Iraq. Once my time in the service ended, I pursued photography to be a war photographer. However, after stumbling upon weddings in college, I realized that wedding photography is a better and healthier fit for me. Now I get to capture people's best day of their lives instead of their worst.
