I am an award-winning photojournalist specializing in local and destination weddings for clients who love timeless, candid moments. With two decades of experience as a professional photojournalist, I have won numerous awards for my documentary photography work. This experience enables me to capture amazing moments with my camera in the most difficult of situations. My attention to detail, focus on collaboration with couples, and outgoing personality lend to an experience my clients rave about to their friends, family and in their testimonials.

Where are you located? Do you charge a travel fee for weddings not in your location?

I'm based in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho and do not charge travel fees for weddings within 150 miles. For destination weddings, travel fees cover the cost of travel, lodging, rental car and per diem. Often times my destination clients cover a majority of the travel fees with earned credit card points.

How long have you been in business? How many weddings have you photographed as the main photographer?

I began documenting weddings in 2006 and since then I've worked with more than 150 couples to capture a visual story of their wedding days.

Describe your "style" of wedding photography.

Coming from a newspaper and freelance photojournalism career, my style is definitely aimed at capturing moments and providing a complete visual story of a wedding day.

What's the typical wedding coverage package that you offer? What is the price?

My average client invests $5,200 for their wedding photography which includes nine hours of coverage, an online gallery to view, order and share images, high-resolution fully retouched images, and a custom-designed wedding album.

Do you have a studio where we can meet in-person?

I meet with local couples in my studio. For my destination wedding and out-of-the-area inquiries, I use Zoom or other online video services.

What are your professional degrees, credentials, affiliations? Have you taken any recent educational workshops or classes?

Aside from being part of the amazing group of artists on Fearless Photographers, I'm also a member of the Wedding Photojournalist Association, International Society of Professional Wedding Photographers, and the Professional Photographers of America.

Is there anything else you'd like to share about yourself?

Beyond great images, my couples always mention the peace of mind I provided on their wedding days. This is acheived through planning, collaboration, and knowing the couples on a level that goes beyond the consultation.
