Every week, we strive to be better than last week. We began our lifelong journey, when we picked up a camera over 4 years and 150 weddings ago. From an obsession to a profession, we evolve as lifetime students of the craft, and active members of some of the largest photography communities in the world. Our end goal, is to provide our couples world class quality and value. However, there is no end to photography, that is the beauty of it all.

Our style & grace, is based on delivering classic fine art quality, while maintaining with the edgy trends of today. We like to create art, out of rehearsed & unrehearsed candid moments. We are obsessed with light, as well as shadow to create a flattering look.

Luminus thrives, while getting to know our couples through engagement sessions, or on the wedding day. The emotion in your portraits, will stem from your comfort in front of the lens with us, the experience we can provide, and the love between you two!

Where are you located? Do you charge a travel fee for weddings not in your location?

We are located just outside of Dayton Ohio and a short drive from Cincinnati. We only charge travel fees for weddings over 150 miles in distance.

How long have you been in business? How many weddings have you photographed as the main photographer?

We have been in business for 4 years, and photographed over 100 weddings with my fiance. Neither of us has ever been a second shooter, my fiance and I have always lead together.

Describe your "style" of wedding photography.

Our style is very versatile, and our craft always allows us to evolve by means of exploring and challenging ourselves to master a variety of styles.

So there is always room for evolution for all of us. Our "style" ranges anywhere from moody & dramatic, to filmic, light & airy, photo-journalistic, fine art, and high fashion.

What's the typical wedding coverage package that you offer? What is the price?

Our typical wedding coverage and collections rate, is $3,400. It includes 8 hours of coverage with 2 photographers (my fiance and I), a free engagement session, and digital gallery delivery of photographs with the ability to download all photographs delivered, and purchase prints, canvases, metals etc. with our online digital system. We offer many other collections with higher tier packages which include bridal/boudoir sessions, highlight and full feature cinematography, albums and more. We provide both al a carte and bundled print collections from heirloom albums to wall art as well handcrafted from the finest in Italy.

Do you have a studio where we can meet in-person?

We have a boudoir studio in our residence, however we meet couples in person over dinner or coffee and we chat with Skype, Facebook, or Facetime.

What are your professional degrees, credentials, affiliations? Have you taken any recent educational workshops or classes?

We are affiliated with the PPA, featured weddingwire.com vendors, and have been featured in several publications. Our training has been primarily through mentor-ship with grandmaster of WPPI photographer Jerry Ghionis.

Is there anything else you'd like to share about yourself?

We love to learn more about our couples by means of photography. Always open for continuous communication with our brides, and we treat each couple with their own individual respect for their needs. You can always reach out to us with any questions we can help answer. We work on a mood board system which allows our couples to express their preferences for the look and feel of their photographs. All of our work is in-house for post production from photo editing or retouching, to post production of cinematography. We live photography every day, it is not just a job for us it is a lifetime journey that also brings us closer together as a couple ourselves.
