I am an internationally award-winning ex-photojournalist with 32 years of experience and have spent my life documenting and telling stories through photography. To me, photography is thrilling, electric even. An image may be a millisecond of history, but with the right composition in the right moment, a photograph has the ability to capture a recollection clearly in your mind's eye, expanding to other memories and reliving the experience. The beauty of photography for me means artfully crafting and preserving the moments you want to remember forever, and helping you create the stories you want to share.

I am based in Grand Rapids, MI but also serve the greater Denver, CO Metro area. I am available for destination weddings and photo sessions all over the world! I am a proud LGBTQ+ Owned Business

Where are you located? Do you charge a travel fee for weddings not in your location?

I am located in Grand Rapids, MI but return to Colorado where I started this journey and love helping clients in both states capture amazing storytelling images of their wedding day.

How long have you been in business? How many weddings have you photographed as the main photographer?

I have been in the wedding business since 2009. I was a photojournalist in Michigan for 25 years before that. I have photographed over 50 weddings in my career.

Do you have a studio where we can meet? Do you use Skype?

My studio is located near Grand Rapids, Michigan in the town of Cascade.

What are your professional degrees, credentials, affiliations? Have you taken any recent educational workshops or classes?

I have a BA degree in Photography and I am always educating myself to improve my craft. I taught photojournalism at Michigan State University for four years and I am currently a member of the Professional Photographers Association. I was also President of the Michigan Press Photographers Association in the early 2000s.
