With a background in photojournalism, I take a true documentary approach to photographing your wedding. My wife Megan and I work together as a team to tell the story of your wedding by capturing moments from unique and interesting perspectives.

Your wedding isn't just another wedding for me to photograph. I approach every wedding for what it is - the best day of your life! Your photos should reflect that. It's a huge responsibility for a photographer to take on, and I take that very seriously. I will invest all of my energy on your wedding day to making the very best photos I can for you. I am competitive with myself, and never fall into a routine of "same old, same old." I am always looking for emotion, moments, and creative, unique angles to show you a perspective you would not expect.

Making you feel relaxed, happy and "on top of the world" is just a small part of my work, but something I think I do very well! I have been photographing weddings for over ten years and understand the importance of "the moment" and how to capture it. My goal is to present you with the spectacular, sometimes unconventional and conceptual images you deserve. Wedding collections from $2500, portrait sessions from $450.

I'm sarcastic, enthusiastic, and always game. My background and BFA are rooted in photography, with an emphasis on photojournalism, but my dedication and drive come from building my business from the ground up. I married my best friend and then convinced him that being a photographer would be more fun than anything he'd ever done. (I was right.)

I'm determined to document the way a wedding feels, not just the way it looks; from ear-splitting grins to eyes glistening with tears, from a ring bearer's tantrum to a crazy-sweaty-screaming dance floor. I believe there's more to a wedding than pretty details and picture-perfect scenes. When documenting a day I seek raw emotions, human connections, and unrepeatable moments, and the resulting images will transport you back to the one day that will fly by faster than you think is possible.

We work seasonally from home studios in Burlington, Vermont (late May-October; no fees within the state of Vermont) and Jupiter, Florida (November-early May; no fees between Fort Lauderdale and Vero Beach). Lots more travel info on our website.

Curiosity drives my work. Documenting your day the way it naturally plays out makes for the best imagery. At times we will step aside to create some magic, but the images that mean the most are the ones of real, raw moments.

These days I call Vermont home, with a cliffside house overlooking a waterfall (affectionately dubbed 'The Waterfall House').
