Sou Danilo Almeida fotógrafo de casamento e tenho a fotografia como uma forma de expressão artística, contando histórias únicas de maneira documental. Eu e minha esposa Cristiana Almeida compomos a equipe Área da Fotografia eternizando sonhos.

As pessoas definem meu trabalho como ousado e criativo, eu prefiro simplesmente dizer que procuro registrar a individualidade de cada casal de um modo único. Viajei por 18 países fotografando histórias e trocando experiências com profissionais da área, abrindo meu olhar para o novo e enxergando o que vai além do óbvio. Voltando ao Brasil, encontrei nos casamentos a oportunidade de misturar minhas paixões por pessoas, suas histórias e arte.

Casada, musicista, atleta e completamente apaixonada por fotografia. A busca pelo novo me move diariamente a tentar ser melhor e surpreender. Tenho um modo diferente de ver as coisas e gosto de mostrar isso para as pessoas.

I am a restless photographer, I am always looking for the best moments that may be happening near me. I want to register them all in a natural and artistic way. Everything that happens can become a great story, just have the gift of photographing it!

I'm a documentary photographer and photography educator currently based in Brazil.

I got hooked on photography at 19. It was devastating. Since then, I wake up, eat, breath and sleep photography. It's impossible to pull that apart from who I am. It's my hobby, my passion and, by the way, also my job.

Photography has been changing the way I relate with the world and its people. It has turned me into a better human being.

I believe in the power of photography. When it's done with honesty and purpose, it can change people's lives.

Traveling is another passion of mine and I'm available to shoot anywhere. The world is my home.

After fighting a terminal cancer, I changed the way of looking at life, everything has its beauty, even if the sad moments can have its positive side, and a wedding is the greatest of happy moments. Life is beautiful, and I want to show the beauty through my eyes, so I became a photographer.

Photography has changed my life, made me leave a consolidated profession of aeronautical engineering, made me learn to look inside, and so to look outside and to people in a different and genuine way. Photography connects me with people, it is my sincerest form of expression and through documentary photography I can capture precious and unique moments in people's lives. My photography brings emotion, the unusual, but without forgetting those important family portraits of the wedding day.

I am one of those people motivated by emotions and smiles. My photography is made by searching little details and moments that sometimes could be unnoticed. Single moments on the nature and other real situations are regular on my photos. I understand that the beauty of photography is emotion and it goes beyond any technique acquired.

I believe in love, I believe it's not just a feeling, it is the most powerful force of the universe.
I believe in stories, good stories are the most beautiful way to preserve and spread the power of love.
I believe in photography, I believe it is the most atemporal way of telling good stories.
I believe in empathy, and that is the entrance door to tell love stories with photographs.
I believe photography is the least important thing on a wedding day, but as time goes by, it becomes the most powerful witness of the love and joy felt that day.
That's why I believe in candid photos, carefully grab a little moment of emotion and togetherness, and preserve it for the days to come. I don't believe in creating epic photos with beautiful poses and perfect smiles. I want people to be themselves to live and share the love and I'll be there to tell the stories.
