I just want to tell stories. I love things that are real and honest.. And I believe that shows in my work. I think I gravitate to that which is timeless, like the moments of joy and tears. I do realize that weddings are about the couple getting married and their romantic love. But I love capturing all the relationships at weddings. I find value in the whole of it. I think that there is so much love to be found in other relationships, too. And I want to see those moments between sisters or grandparents or children or best friends, just as much as the bride and bride, bride and groom, or groom and groom.

Weddings are fun. Ho-lee shit are they fun, but let's be honest, they would be NOTHING without the people. Sure, it's great to get the right venue, tablecloths, and food, but at the end of the day, your wedding isn't about that. Your wedding is about you. Your partner. Your relationship. Your families. Your friends. The little kids that act like drunk adults. The reason I love photography as much as I do is because of the people I get to work with. I'm fascinated by the connections you share and the web of love that surrounds you.

Yes, you'll get a lot of pretty images from your wedding day, but I'll also give you photographs that that tug at your mother f%#king* heart strings years from now.

*I will not swear in church, in front of your parents (unless specifically asked to do so), or around children. I will swear excitedly in front of you.

My father started Ueda Photography in Brazil over 50 years ago. I grew up immersed in the world of photography as both my parents were professionals in the field. I remember bright lights, classy suits, winding the film of the Hasselblad and my dad's fun personality. My father would take me to parties, even at the age of five, and instruct me in lighting. I was called 'Uedinha,' or 'Little Ueda.'

At 16, I went to school for photography and graduated with knowledge and ambition. Now I find myself in Madison, WI. I continue my father's legend in a new land. I have kept his excellence and attention to you, the client, while going forward with my own artistic sense of photojournalism.

I've been doing this 10 years now. Traveling the world, seeing a lot and eating even more. Right now I live in La Crosse, WI while I can still visit my grandfather.

I believe in documenting lifestyles and people. Each person has different experiences creating who they are, and who they are becoming. It excites me to go into a wedding day to see the dynamic of families, and the connection of couples.
