My name is David Orban, and I'm a freelance wedding photographer based in Liège. Since 2006, I've photographed over 300 weddings in Wallonia, Brussels, and Luxembourg. My approach is simple: to blend into your day, anticipate the moments, and capture what truly happens-no forced poses, no staging.
My Story
I discovered photography like many of us: first out of curiosity, then out of passion. In 2006, I photographed my first wedding. What was meant to be a brief interlude became a profession, then a vocation.
Twenty years later, I've never stopped coming back to it. Every couple tells a different story. Every day has its own rhythm, its silences, its bursts of joy. It's this diversity that keeps me passionate and prevents me from falling into a routine.
I'm still based in Liège, the region where I grew up. It remains my preferred playground, even though I regularly travel to Brussels and Luxembourg to accompany the couples who entrust me with their wedding photography.
My approach to wedding photography
My signature is discretion. No group shots I direct for hours, no endless poses, no intrusion into intimate moments. I blend into your day like an attentive guest-armed with my camera, but silent.
This discretion isn't a pose, it's a method. When I don't impose myself, emotions have time to unfold naturally: glances that connect, spontaneous bursts of laughter, tears glimpsed only in passing. It's these moments that will make you say, ten years later, "That was exactly it."
I believe in timeless images: no trendy filters that will age poorly, no effects that will look dated in five years. Just real photos, well exposed, carefully retouched - so that your children, one day, will look at them with the same emotion as you do today.
