My career path started in 2001 as a photographer for a small newspaper in California. I earned my MS in Photojournalism in 2004 from Syracuse University, and for the past 12 years, I have been a photo editor for USA TODAY and The Pew Charitable Trusts. I began shooting weddings with my husband in 2007 for a creative boost, and last year finally took a leap of faith and quit my day job to pursue wedding photography full time. Talk about fearless!

I love journalism. I don't pose my images. I'm here to guide you through posed portraiture, but aside from that, your moments are yours to make.

Being part of a husband & wife team of photographers, I have a unique rapport with my second shooter. After ten years of attempted mind-reading, we are nimble, easy-going, and enjoy a healthy creative rivalry.

Where are you located? Do you charge a travel fee for weddings not in your location?

I am based in the heart of New England, just outside Worcester, MA. Travel fees are calculated from there.

How long have you been in business? How many weddings have you photographed as the main photographer?

My husband and I have been in business together for twelve years. I have photographed ~300 weddings.

Describe your "style" of wedding photography.

My style is best described as artistic journalism.

What are your professional degrees, credentials, affiliations? Have you taken any recent educational workshops or classes?
