"There's always a story waiting to be told."
Dear wedding couple, it is always important to me that we both are on a wavelength. Because outstanding photography always requires sympathy, trust and good communication.
So let me introduce myself to you. Since I started studying international photojournalism natural moments and honest storytelling became the cornerstones of my work. My wedding photography is highly influenced by famous photojournalists like Jacob Aue Sobol, Anders Petersen, Darcy Padilla and Josef Koudelka. I am more a candid wedding photographer with a documentary approach. If children are playing in the dirt, I photograph them just like that. If people are crying at the ceremony, I capture all those tears of joy, if grandma is falling asleep I capture the moment. And even if the wedding cake falls down, I am ready do take the photo (not yet happened). Real moments, real emotions, life in all its bright colours and facets.
A journalistic wedding coverage is a very personal time document, an insight into one's own past, into the here and now, and also in the common future. This is how I define myself wedding photojournalism.

Where are you located? Do you charge a travel fee for weddings not in your location?

I am located in Berlin/Hannover (Germany) and Valencia (Spain). But I photograph weddings all over the world. Travel fees can be really low if you book early enough.

Describe your "style" of wedding photography.

I would describe my style as natural wedding photojournalism with an artistic visual approach in storytelling. In my images I always try to find a beautiful order in the chaos of coincidence or as Henri-Cartier Bresson named it the decisive moment of photography.

What's the typical wedding coverage package that you offer? What is the price?

Usually I photograph wedding stories from 8h up to a whole weekend.

Do you have a studio where we can meet? Do you use Skype?

I like to meet my wedding couples in a more private setting at home or in a nice little cafe. I also love to Skype with you.

What are your professional degrees, credentials, affiliations? Have you taken any recent educational workshops or classes?

If you book me as a wedding photographer you got a lot of experience.
I had 2 years education in a professional portrait photo studio in Berlin.
I was a photo assistant and second shooter for another 2 years.
I am studying international photojournalism since 4 years.
I participate at different workshops and masterclasses every year.
I am chairman of the photo club Fotografie Berlin e.V. for 5 years.
I took part at 2 fearless conferences.
Education and experience is worth more than every award in the world!

Is there anything else you'd like to share about yourself?

As Oscar Wilde said „Travel improves the mind wonderfully, and does away with all one’s prejudices.“
